Catherine Brubaker is a two-time brain injury survivor after a surviving an assault and a subsequent vehicle accident which nearly cost her life.
In 2014 she rode her recumbent cycle 5390 miles across the US to take back her life. She realized she was not alone. As she began telling her story, other’s began telling her theirs. She has made it her purpose to share her journey of hope around the country to help empower individuals with a message of freedom.
As a result of her journey, Catherine founded HopeForTrauma.org, an organization committed to advocating for a national conversation about brain injury and the invisible challenges survivors and their families face every day.
Catherine is an extremely compelling and experienced motivational speaker with speaking engagements across the nation at various colloquiums, conferences and Universities. She has experience with media, holds her Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership.
A documentary will be released in 2015 to share her inspirational story of hope and recovery. The goal of her documentary is to propel the vision statement of Hope For Trauma into fruition.
