Guest Speaker: Catherine Brubaker, M.S.L.
Catherine Brubaker is the founder of HopeForTrauma.org, an organization committed to encouraging a national conversation about brain injury, its invisible challenges and the impact on survivors and their families. Catherine is a two-time survivor who, in 2014, rode her recumbent cycle 5390 miles across the US to raise awareness for brain injury. She has shared her journey of hope around the country and helped empower individuals with her message of freedom and the power of self-advocacy.

Meditation and Integrative Therapies
Nutrition and Exercise
This conference will provide individuals with brain injury, their caregivers, family and friends, and healthcare professionals with information and insight into strategies to successfully manage a range of challenges that affect overall health, wellness and quality of life. Resource booths will provide additional information and networking opportunities.
We’ve been invited to share our stories in hopes of inspiring others and raising awareness of the challenges faced by brain injury and stroke survivors. We will be speaking to the Florida Free Wheelers Bicycle Club to an estimated audience of 400, focusing on the benefits of recumbent and recovery.
Catherine Brubaker and Dan Zimmerman will be hosted as guests, riding the 35th Annual Florida Bicycle 6-Day Safari, riding for hope.
